Moong Dal Chilla is made from Yellow Moong Lentils, which is a healthy, nutritious and tasty chilla. Moong dal chilla can be made with both lentils like split or whole moong.
Firstly, soak moong dal overnight or at least 5 hours. Then rinse water from that and add this moong dal, salt, green chilli and ginger in a mixer jar. Grind it in a smooth paste by adding this rinse water in batches.
Now transfer this batter in another bowl and add chopped coriander leaves.
Then heat dosa tawa or other flat tawa then 1-2 drops of oil on it and spread all over the tawa.
Take one big spoon of batter on tawa and spread like dosa. Add some oil on it and roast from both sides like dosa.
Prepare all chilla like this and your Moong Dal Chilla is ready to serve.
