A layered chocolate sponge cake sandwiched with sugar syrup and whipped cream, which can be prepared at home. Chocolate Cake is a King of All Cake recipes.
For Chocolate Cake (To prepare 1 cake with 2 layer Cake )
1cuppowdered sugar(icing sugar)
3tbspoil
1/2tbspvanilla essence(vanilla extract)
1cuplukewarm milk
1 1/2cupall-purpose flour(maida or plain flour)
3tbspcocoa powder(unsweetened)
1/4tbspbaking powder
1/2tbspbaking soda
1tbsplemon juice
For Sugar Syrup
2tbspsugar
1/2cupwater
For Frosting
1tbspvanilla essence(vanilla extract)
1/4cuppowdered sugar(icing sugar)
2cupchilled cream(which considered 35% milk fat)
Instructions
Firstly, in a bowl take maida, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder.
Then sieve its properly for 2 times.
Further take another bowl, add lukewarm milk and sugar. Combine well till sugar melt in milk.
Now add all dry ingredients in liquid ingredients in 2-3 part form. And mix well with hand whisk or electric whisk on medium speed.
Now add oil and vanilla essence. Again mix well till oil disappeared.
Further add lemon juice and whisk till its look fluppy.
After that pour the better into microwave safe bowl which layered with butter paper and greased with oil.
And tap twice so bubbles disappeared.
Bake the cake in microwave mode on high power till 5 minutes. Then check once, if cake still not baked then put it in the microwave for 2 minutes at the same temperature.
Finally, cool down the cake completely and cut into 2 equal halves.
Now take a pan, add sugar and water. Start boiling till sugar melt and then sugar syrup is ready.
Place 1st layer and top with sugar syrup and frosting. Then repeat for 2, 3 and 4th layer. Start spreading frosting over the sides of cake carefully.
Place chocolate curls in the center or stick on the sides. And decorate as per your choice. Finally, chocolate cake is ready to cut and serve.
