For Chocolate Cake (To prepare 1 cake with 2 layer Cake )
- 1 cup powdered sugar (icing sugar)
- 3 tbsp oil
- 1/2 tbsp vanilla essence (vanilla extract)
- 1 cup lukewarm milk
- 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour (maida or plain flour)
- 3 tbsp cocoa powder (unsweetened)
- 1/4 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tbsp baking soda
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
For Sugar Syrup
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 cup water
For Frosting
- 1 tbsp vanilla essence (vanilla extract)
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar (icing sugar)
- 2 cup chilled cream (which considered 35% milk fat)
Instructions
- Firstly, in a bowl take maida, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder.
- Then sieve its properly for 2 times.
- Further take another bowl, add lukewarm milk and sugar. Combine well till sugar melt in milk.
- Now add all dry ingredients in liquid ingredients in 2-3 part form. And mix well with hand whisk or electric whisk on medium speed.
- Now add oil and vanilla essence. Again mix well till oil disappeared.
- Further add lemon juice and whisk till its look fluppy.
- After that pour the better into microwave safe bowl which layered with butter paper and greased with oil.
- And tap twice so bubbles disappeared.
- Bake the cake in microwave mode on high power till 5 minutes. Then check once, if cake still not baked then put it in the microwave for 2 minutes at the same temperature.
- Finally, cool down the cake completely and cut into 2 equal halves.
- Now take a pan, add sugar and water. Start boiling till sugar melt and then sugar syrup is ready.
- Place 1st layer and top with sugar syrup and frosting. Then repeat for 2, 3 and 4th layer. Start spreading frosting over the sides of cake carefully.
- Place chocolate curls in the center or stick on the sides. And decorate as per your choice. Finally, chocolate cake is ready to cut and serve.

Tips to Making Chocolate Cake Recipe #
- Firstly, in this recipe, I have prepared 2 layered sponge cake by sandwiching the whipped cream. This can be increased, 4 by preparing a cake and cutting them to 4 halves.
- Secondly, do not apply too much sugar syrup otherwise the cake may turn soggy.
- Make sure that when you are preparing sugar syrup, it’s not start burning or otherwise it’s smell will mixing in syrup. It’s just melting the sugar. So do this on low flame.
- Also, the chocolate cake can be prepared and stored in the freezer until it is required. But max to max for 4-5 days.
- Lastly, make sure the sponge cakes are brought to room temperature before icing them with whipped cream. Otherwise, the cream would melt and would not stick to the cake.

It was really tasty and easy to cook but at the end many cracks on it. So whats wrong with it?

Reason of cracks on cake at the end that your proportion of baking soda and baking powder was may vary. In bakery items like cakes, cookies, etc. you have to follow proper measurements. Lastly, focus on microwave temperature also. Cracks on cake also depend on your temperature of microwave may high or low. Just this two reasons are there for cracks. Try again with correct proportion of ingredients and let me know once that your issue will solved or not.
