- 3 Tbsp Roasted Besan
- 4 Tbsp Coriander Powder
- 1½ Tbsp Red Chilli Powder
- ½ Tbsp Turmeric Powder
- ¼ Tbsp Garam Masala Powder
- Salt as per taste
- 2 Tbsp Powdered Sugar
- 1 Tbsp Oil
- 2 Tbsp Coriander Leaves (Chopped)
- 1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
For Bharwa Bhindi
- 250 gm Bhindi (Ladyfinger or Okra)
- 2½ Tbsp Oil
- ½ Tbsp Mustard Seeds
- ½ Tbsp Cumin Seeds
- 1 Tbsp Green Chilli (Chopped)
- 1 Tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
- Curry Leaves
- ¼ Tbsp Asafoetida (Hing)
- 2 Tbsp Coriander Leaves (Chopped)
Instructions
For Stuffing
- Take a bowl and add all spices of stuffing and mix it together.
For Bharwa Bhindi
- Firstly, wash and rinse bhindi properly. Then cut their edges. And slit from the middle as described.
- Now prepare all bhindi like this.
- Then stuff the prepared spices stuffing in it gently.
- Prepare all bhindi like this.
- Now take a kadai and add oil, mustard seeds and cumin seeds.
- When mustard seeds and cumin seeds start crackles then add green chilli, ginger garlic paste, hing and curry leaves. Cook for a while on medium flame.
- Then add stuffed bhindi and mix it gently. Cover with lid and cook on low flame for 8 minutes or till bhindi 80% cooked. Stir it occasionally.
- When bhindi cooked after 8 minutes then add leftover stuffing and coriander leaves. Mix it properly and cook for 2 minutes or cook completely.
- Your Bharwa Bhindi is ready to serve.

Tips to Making Bharwa Bhindi Recipe #
- Always, use washed and properly rinsed Bhindi or Okra. If there is water in bhindi then it’s become slimy while cooking.
- You may cut bhindi in small sizes after stuffed spices, it cooks faster.
