Additionally, remove roasted peanuts skin after it once cools down. Secondly, while grinding the garlic in a mixer grinder, add ¼ tbsp of red chilli powder and salt for a fine paste of garlic. Lastly, you can store this lahsun chutney in the fridge for a week.

Garlic Chutney is popular to serve with Rajasthani Dal Bati Churma. Garlic chutney or Lahsun ki chutney is also served with chaats and vada pav. But it’s served with Idli, Dosa, Paratha, Roti, Bajri ka Rotla, etc too. It is an accompaniment with any dish for any time like breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Garlic Chutney Recipe
Ingredients
- ½ cup Peanuts
- ¼ cup Garlic cloves
- 1½ tbsp Red chilli powder
- Salt as per taste
- 2 tbsp Oil
- Water as required
Instructions
- Firstly, roast peanuts.
- Additionally, remove the skin of roasted peanuts after it cools down.
- Then grind it in a mixer grinder in a fine paste and remove it in another plate.
- Now add garlic in the same mixer grinder along with ¼ tbsp red chilli powder and salt and grind well. Then remove it in another plate.
- Furthermore, take a pan and add oil.
- When oil becomes medium hot then add grounded garlic in it.
- Moreover, add ½ cup of water in garlic and mix well. Cook for 2 minutes.
- Now add grounded peanuts in it and mix gently. Again cook it for 2 minutes.
- Then add red chilli powder and salt. And mix well. Cover with lid and simmer till oil starts separating from the pan.
- Your Garlic Chutney or Lahsun ki Chutney is ready to serve.

- You can also temper this chutney with mustard seeds and curry leaves.
- Moreover, add lemon juice along with water to make chutney for chats like sev puri, bhel, etc.
- No need to add more oil. As peanuts have oil which separates while simmering the chutney.
- Lastly, you can store this lahsun ki chutney in the fridge for a week.
