Manchow soup is a healthy soup as it is prepared from vegetables. In India, all restaurants serve fried noodles with manchow soup. Manchow soup’s method is almost similar to hot and sour soup as it is thicker in consistency and served crispy fried noodles at the time of serving else they will turn soggy. Here I’m adding carrot, cabbage, capsicum, spring onion in the soup.

Furthermore, I want to share some suggestions for a Veg Manchow Soup Recipe. Firstly, cook vegetables for 2 minutes on high flame but make sure it’ll not burn. Additionally, you can add vegetables like sweet corn, mushroom, baby corn, tofu, etc as a variation. Secondly, you can add water as per your consistency preference. Moreover, Soup’s thickness can be adjustable as per your taste by adding less or more corn starch. Lastly, serve fried noodles on top of the soup just before serving else they will turn soggy.

For Manchow Soup
- ¼ Cup Capsicum (Finely Chopped)
- ¼ Cup Carrot (Finely Chopped)
- ¼ Cup Cabbage (Finely Chopped)
- ½ Tbsp Oil
- 1 Tbsp Red Chilli Sauce
- 1 Tbsp Soya Sauce
- Salt as Per Taste
- 3 Tbsp Corn Starch + Water
- Water as Required
- ¼ Cup Spring Onion (Finely Chopped)
For Manchow Soup Serving
- Fried Noodles
- Spring Onion (Finely Chopped)
Instructions
- Firstly, take kadai and add oil. Then add capsicum and carrot.
- When capsicum and carrot slightly cooked then add cabbage, spring onion and salt.
- Now add water 1 glass and also add red chilli sauce and soya sauce. Then simmer for 4 minutes on a medium flame.
- Furthermore, add cornstarch mixture in it and boiled it on a medium flame for 5 minutes.
- Lastly, your soup is ready to serve.
