- Firstly, take heavy bottom kadai and add jaggery in it and roast on high flame.
- When bubbles start appear that time keeps flame on low to medium flame and keep stirring jaggery.
- Keep cook jaggery till golden brown as described image on low to medium flame.
- Now add sesame seed in batches and mix it gently.
- Then transfer this cooked chikki on a greased plate.
- Now roll chikki till roti’s thickness or transfer in a mold and shape it as you want a thickness of chikki.
- As soon as cut chikki in your desired shape.
- Your Til Chikki or Sesame Chikki is ready to serve.

I made sesame chikky according your instructions in recipe, I did not cook jaggery till colour changed to golden . It come out brittle somewhat .May be next time ! Thank you for a great recipe
