Tawa Burger recipe is very easy to make but still I would like to share some tips or suggestions. Firstly, here I’m using capsicum, onion, cabbage, paneer, etc. But you will definitely add veggies as per your choice like beetroot, green peas, beans, carrot, etc. Secondly, we are skipping adding potatoes because here I’m not deep frying tikki. We want only cooked stuffing for a burger which is a healthier option. One most important step is to add all sauces in the last step. Because sauces contain water which makes stuffing more watery. So add sauces in last and after that cook for 1-2 minutes. Lastly, for mayonnaise spread, kindly add tomato sauce, mayonnaise, red chilli sauce and schezwan chutney. You can also add green chilli sauce for a more spicy taste. This spread makes the burger tastier.
Tawa Burger Recipe
Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup Onion (Roughly Chopped)
- 1/2 Cup Capsicum (Roughly Chopped)
- 1/4 Cup Cabbage (Finely Chopped)
- 1/2 tbsp Red Chilli Powder
- 1/4 tbsp Turmeric Powder
- 1/4 tbsp Coriander Powder
- 1/4 tbsp Garam Masala
- Salt as per Taste
- 1/2 tbsp Red Chilli Sauce
- 1/2 tbsp Schezwan Sauce (Schezwan Chutney)
- 1 tbsp Tomato Ketchup
- 1/4 Cup Paneer (Cottage Cheese) (Roughly Chopped)
- Process Cheese
- 1/2 Cup Mayonnaise Spread
Instructions
- Firstly, take tawa and add roughly chopped onion and saute for 2 minutes.
- Secondly, add roughly chopped capsicum and again saute for 2 minutes.
- Moreover, add finely chopped cabbage in it and mix for 1 minute.
- Now add dry spices like red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala and salt as per taste. Then mix well.
- Furthermore, gather all ingredients and cover with normal any bowl and cook for 4-5 minutes on medium flame.
- Make sure ingredients don’t start to burn. And now add roughly chopped paneer and mix again.
- Now add all sauces like red chilli sauce, tomato ketchup and schezwan sauce and mix on low flame.
- Tawa burger stuffing is ready.
- Furthermore, cut the burger bun from middle and now on the same tawa, roast burger bun from both the side with few drops of oil or butter.
- Spread 1-2 tbsp of mayonnaise on burger bun on one side.
- Now on the same side spread prepared stuffing.
- Then grate some process cheese on it. And cover the burger with second one bun.
- Now roast burger on the same tawa for just 1 minute from both sides for 1 minute.
- Our Tawa Burger is ready to serve. You can also serve with tomato ketchup.
